Video Games I Like

This page is a work in progress.

I've always thought of myself as having a very unique taste. My favorite video games, therefore, reflect that:

Oh, wait.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

...ah.

Either way, Tears of the Kingdom is a great game. Yes, it has flaws (Demon King? Secret Stone?), but it still has some of the greatest systems of any game, like Ultrahand. Somehow, they took a game world people had already explored and made it feel completely new. Yes, it has flaws, but it's not a bad game by any stretch of the imagination. However, this is coming from somebody who liked Age of Calamity, which is a very contested game. Anyway, the next game should be more unique, right?

Stardew Valley

...

...Aaanyway, Stardew Valley! It's one of my favorite games! There's just so much to do! I like how it gives you a bunch of little goals you can work towards to achieve big things. I've played through it twice, and while it probably won't get anything new for a while (while the creator is working on his next game), I'll probably still replay it over the summer.

Wow, my taste in games is so boring and basic! Well, time for the next basic game? I wonder what it will be? Minecraft? Let's see:

Wizard With a Gun

This game is criminally underrated. That, or I'm exactly the target audience. What is this game? Well, you play as a Wizard... with a gun. Your spells are bullets, which you fire out of the gun to get effects like fire, poison, or teleportation (to the place you fire). It's also a kind of roguelike, as the world is on a five-minute timer and you have to return to the hub before it ends, but if you do happen to die, you only lose whatever was in your inventory (except your hotbar of guns). It's a pretty fun game with a good sense of progression and a mountain of ways to customize your playstyle. I have some ideas for a game of my own, and many of them take from this game. I really think more people should play it.
